Zigzag: Online Fashion Shopping in Korea

 Where do Korean women buy clothes?

Zigzag is a mobile shopping platform that focuses on women’s fashion and brings together various online stores and brand products in one place. It’s more focused on the mobile app than the website. 

Me and most of my friends use this app. It’s mainly used by people in their teens to thirties, and it’s a really good place to see the latest daily outfit trends in Korea. If you live in Korea but haven’t used Zigzag yet or don’t know the app well, just follow along with me! Sadly, Zigzag’s global service is no longer available. 

💛Now, I’ll give you a quick introduction to the app(The photos are in order from left to right).

First, if you don’t have the Zigzag app yet, download it. Once you open the app, you’ll see the home screen. I recommend tapping around and exploring the app to get used to it. There are so many stores and products, and you can also check the rankings if you want to see what’s popular.

If you check the categories, there’s not just fashion but also beauty, food, and lifestyle items. You can basically get everything you need in one app, so it’s super convenient. (Most products are sold directly by the sellers, so it feels more trustworthy.)

Let’s take a closer look at the fashion section. The fashion category is mostly Korean online shopping malls (wholesale-based online stores), but you can also find brands and "Selected" section(designer brands). 

There’s also a “Made by” section where stores(wholesale-based online stores) design and make their own clothes, and a lot of these items are as good quality as brand clothes.

Zigzag also gives out a lot of discount coupons through its own events, and they also do shopping live streams(ZigzagLive) where you can chat and shop in real time.

The best thing about Zigzag is definitely the Straight Delivery. Straight Delivery means if you order today, your order arrives the next day. There’s a separate Straight Delivery section, and items that are available for this service are marked in purple. You can also see the estimated delivery date for your package, which is really helpful. It’s especially useful when you need clothes urgently. I recommend trying Zigzag at least once if you live in Korea.

- Zigzag has a lot of sales and coupons, so make sure to download coupons and check the final price before you buy.

- The beauty section is similar to a drugstore, and it’s usually cheaper than offline stores.

- Reviews are very active, so I always check reviews before buying. If a product has around 1,000 reviews, it’s usually a safe choice.
